The story behind the product

The biscuit.

A Breton bowl, it is not just any bowl, it is above all a signature shape. We therefore first choose the “biscuit” (better word, right?), this is the piece of tableware that we are going to paint, already fired the first time, but not enameled.
We then choose the colors. For the Bisou bowl, it’s “Mulhouse Red” and “Black”, and for the customizable bowls, we have plenty of other colors available. Crush on “Rose Chantal”

Then, it's time for Mathilde to painteach element by hand. Be careful, you have to stay focused and apply yourself, the slightest little brush stroke and you have to start all over again. The first name, the face, the hearts, then Mathilde dates and signs each piece one by one. Your bowl is therefore UNIQUE in the world. You never know, maybe one day you will have a collector's item in your hands...

Go hop, we bake.

Once delicately placed on the shelf, they then go to cooking then glazing, this pretty varnish which transforms the matte biscuit into ashiny Breton bowl. Yum, we want more!

L'univers de Mathilde Cabanas n'est pas juste créatif, il est incroyablement fonctionnel et qualitatif aussi. Les parapluies (que j'adore) protègent de la pluie. Les bols permettent de faire des bolées. Mais on fait tout cela avec une autre dimension : on danse sous la pluie et on boit sa soupe le sourire aux lèvres. C'est un travail d'orfèvre, des bols trop mignons, personnalisés et tout le monde veut le sien. Le meilleur cadeau de l'année.
